Advanced Data Logging and Tuning

The Cobra 5 features an enhanced data logging system that doubles the sample frequency of previous models, providing more detailed performance analytics. With 8x increased logging time and an updated looping feature, users never have to worry about losing crucial data. Additional parameters such as ESC electrical motor timing and acceleration tracking via an onboard accelerometer allow for precise adjustments to optimize performance and detect issues like tire slippage.

Precision Braking and Sensored Control

Equipped with adjustable braking curves and independent reverse settings, the Cobra 5 minimizes drivetrain stress while providing smoother transitions and more realistic throttle response. The highly adjustable internal BEC (ranging from 5.0V to 8.5V in 0.1V increments) offers customized power delivery for servos and electronics. Pairing the Cobra 5 ESC with the Castle 4-Pole 12-Slot Sensored 1721-1260Kv motor ensures superior low-end control without compromising power or top speed.

• Although Cobra 5 is waterproof, it is not intended for operation while completely submerged in liquid. 
• Always rinse the ESC and motor with clean water after exposure to corrosives or dirt. 
• While the motor and controller may be waterproof, we suggest users confirm that the rest of their vehicle, including the batteries, servos, radio and chassis are also waterproof before exposing them to liquids of any kind.
• The cooling fan must be removed prior to driving in wet conditions. It is not waterproof.

• Routine maintenance is recommended after running in wet conditions. 
• Monitor motor temperatures closely; overheating a motor will cause permanent damage to the magnets. Never exceed 200° F on the the motor or ESC.
• Do not use mounting screws that extend more than 5mm into the front of the motor. Using too long of a screw can result in damage to the motor's windings and will not be covered by the warranty.
